ABOUT JAKE ALU
Professional third baseman that was drafted by the Washington Nationals during the 24th round of the 2019 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at Boston College for four years.
He originally began his career playing for the Auburn Doubledays. After 45 games, he was then promoted.
He collected a career-high 150 hits during the 2022 minor league season. He also recorded career-highs in home runs and batting average.
Growing up, he lived with his parents in Hamilton, New Jersey. He is the youngest of two siblings.
He and Jackson Rutledge have both been members of the Washington Nationals.
