ABOUT JACKSON RUTLEDGE
Right-handed pitcher that was drafted by the Washington Nationals during the first round of the 2019 Major League Draft. A few years later, he was named the 12th best MLB prospect on the Nationals' organization.
Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at San Jacinto Junior College in San Jacinto, Texas. He originally played college baseball at the University of Arkansas .
He logged a career-high 97.1 innings during the 2022 minor league season. He also recorded a career-high 99 strikeouts that season.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Fenton, Missouri. He has a sister named Izzie. He has been in a relationship with Marianna Pizzato.
He and Stephen Strasburg have both pitched for the Washington Nationals.
