ABOUT YEO YANN YANN

Malaysian actress who played Hwee Leng in the Filipino-Singaporean-Taiwanese drama film Ilo Ilo, as well as Ling in the Singaporean drama film Wet Season. Her television credits include Amazon Prime Video's Modern Love Mumbai and Disney's American Born Chinese . She's received numerous honors for her work including multiple Golden Horse Awards.

She acted in theatre productions in the late 1990s before her career in film and television took off.

She was named Best Supporting Actress at the 50th Golden Horse Awards for her performance in Ilo Ilo. At the 56th Golden Horse Awards, she was honored as Best Leading Actress for her role in Wet Season.

She and action film choreographer Ma Yuk-Sing tied the knot in the year 2012. They welcomed their daughter Song Wen that same year.
