ABOUT WILLY MUTUNGA
Practicing attorney and reform activist best known for having been Chief Justice of Kenya and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya. He also served as the Commonwealth Special Envoy to the Maldives.
He obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Dar es Salaam in 1974.
During the 1990's he served as the vice-chairman of the Law Society of Kenya.
He was married to Beverle Michele Lax but the couple divorced.
Fellow politician Raila Odinga has been his ally.
