ABOUT TREVOR H. JACQUES
Author, activist, IT specialist, and sex researcher who is best known for his BDSM-themed book, On The Safe Edge: A Manual for SM Play. His other works include Alternate Sources and Gay Guide Canada. He also co-founded the Safer SM Education Project.
He received a degree in physics from the Imperial College of Science and Technology and subsequently worked as a systems engineer on infrared surveillance and other military projects for Spar Aerospace.
He received both the Canadian Region honor and the Pantheon of Leather Award.
He was born in Surrey, England, and he later relocated to Toronto, Canada.
He and Alfred Kinsey both became known for their sex research.
