ABOUT TONY YEBOAH
Striker who played for the Ghanaian national team from 1985 to 1997; scored 68 goals in 123 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt between 1990 and 1995; named Ghanian Footballer of the Year in 1997.
He began his professional career with Asante Kotoko in 1981.
He was the Ghana Premier League's top scorer in 1986 and 1987, while playing for Okwawu United and was the Bundesliga's top scorer in 1993 and 1994 with Eintracht Frankfurt.
His cousin Mike Osei also played professional soccer.
He was a longtime teammate of Abedi Pele on Ghana's national team.
