ABOUT TOM OROSZ

Former NFL special teams player that played for the Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers during his career. Following a successful 1981 season, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. While playing with the 49ers during the 1984 NFL season, he won Super Bowl XIX.

He is a graduate of Harding High School in Marion, Ohio. Shortly after graduating, he then enrolled in Ohio State University , where he would eventually be named an All-American.

He recorded exactly 188 punts for 7,486 yards in 43 games played during his NFL career.

He was born and raised in the Painesville, Ohio area.

He was coached by Bill Walsh and Don Shula during his NFL career.
