ABOUT THEO SNELDERS

Former goalkeeper and athlete that played soccer professionally from the year 1980 until the year 2001. During his professional career, he primarily played in leagues across the Netherlands and Scotland. He also played for the Dutch men's national team during his professional career.

He first began his professional club career with FC Twente in the year 1980. At the time, he was just 17 years old.

While playing with the Aberdeen Football Club, he was named the Scottish PFA Players' Player of the Year in the year 1989. That very same same, he helped his team the 1989-90 Scottish Cup. He is quite tall, standing at an impressive 6'4".

Growing up, he lived with his family in Westervoort, Netherlands. He is a father of two children.

He played the position of goalie during his professional career just like Hugo Lloris .
