She was discovered by a club owner who invited her to perform after hearing her music on YouTube.
Her 2018 track "Automatic" topped 3 million YouTube views in its first 6 months.
She was raised by her Samoan stepfather. Her aunts and uncles performed in bands.
She signed with the Hitco record label which was founded by music producer LA Reid .
