ABOUT TAKEHIRO TOMIYASU

Professional center back and right back that signed to play for the Bologna Football Club in 2019. He has also made appearances as a member of the Japanese national soccer team.

He began his professional soccer career in 2015 as a member of the Avispa Fukuoka Football Club in Japan.

On August 25, 2019, he made his Serie A Italian league debut, playing the full 90 minutes of a 1-1 draw against the Hellas Verona Football Club. At the conclusion of the match, he received his first career Serie A Man of the Match award for his debut performance.

He is a native of Fukuoka, Japan.

Growing up, he idolized Javier Mascherano , who influenced him to play as a defender in soccer.
