English actor, entertainer, and performer who rose to fame for his portrayal of Matthew Jackson on the long-running soap opera EastEnders . His other television credits include Married... with Children , Doctors , and The Borgias .
He attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art between the years 1981 and 1984.
He narrated the television documentary Fighting Back: The Michael Watson Story. He has run marathons in support of Leukaemia research. As an accomplished voice actor, he has played characters for video games such as World of Warcraft : Mists of Pandaria and Sea of Thieves .
He has a daughter named Tess.
He worked alongside Woody Harrelson on the cast of The Walker.
