American politician who was the 62nd Mayor of Rochester, New York from 1970 until 1973 and served as an assistant secretary for congressional relations at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development when Ronald Reagan was the U.S. President.
He earned a law degree from Georgetown University and served with the United States Army.
He was a member of the Rochester City Council from 1966 until 1973.
He was married to Kathryn B. Wilson.
Like him, Ed Koch also served as a Mayor in New York.
