Tanzanian actor and director who was immensely popular for his film and television work and called the most popular star in Tanzania. He played Ndoa Yangu in the 2012 film, Love & Power, before his death.
He got his start acting in church productions and working with the theatre group Kaole Arts Group.
An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 people attended his funeral.
At the time of his death, he was in a relationship with instagramstar.html">Elizabeth Kimemeta, who was charged with his murder.
His funeral was attended by Salma Kikwete, the wife of Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete .
