Acclaimed movie actor and martial artist who appeared in Kill Bill. His other credits include the 1994 film, Immortal Combat, and the 1982 film, Fall Guy. He amassed over 120 credits throughout his long and prolific career.
He ran track, and played baseball and volleyball before becoming an actor.
He earned black belts in six types of martial arts. In 2006, he played the character Uncle Kamata in the popular movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift .
He had a daughter named Juri Manase and two sons named Mackenyu and Gordon.
He worked with Quentin Tarantino on the 2003 film, Kill Bill Volume 1.
