ABOUT SHREYAS IYER

Indian cricketer who rose to fame as a member of the Mumbai cricket team. He is best recognized for being a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler.

He was discovered by renown cricket coach Pravin Amre at the age of 12.

In 2015 he was picked up by the Delhi Daredevils during the 2015 IPL players auction.

His father, Santosh Iyer, is a Malayali, and his mother, Rohini Iyer, is a Tuluva.

He and Sachin Tendulkar both played for the Mumbai cricket team.
