Celebrity makeup artist who has made a name for himself as one of the country's premieres makeup artists for African-American models, singers, and actresses. He was chosen as the first African-American spokesman for Revlon and Covergirl. In May of 2022, he did Queen Latifah 's makeup for an event.
He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and paid his dues working behind the makeup counter at department stores. He graduated from Percy L. Julian High School.
He is the author of the book Fine Beauty: Beauty Basics and Beyond for African-American Women (1998). He has garnered over 120,000 followers on Instagram as a result of his success.
He has sisters.
His clients have included supermodels like Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell .
