Filmmaker and director who is recognized for the documentaries Los Villanos and What Would Beethoven Do? She also holds credits as a camera assistant, editor, cinematographer, director and actress.

She obtained a master's degree in visual anthropology from the University of Southern California .

In 2018, she was brought on as the commercial director for Empress Studios.

She married Shalita Grant in 2018.

Both she and fellow filmmaker James Wan were born in Malaysia.
