He's said that his parents had amazing taste in music while he was growing up, and he was listening to them playing tracks by Jackson Browne , Van Morrison , Peter Frampton , and Lou Reed . He announced his relationship with Emma Chamberlain on the cover of GQ Hype in February 2023. They split after more than three years together.
He was close friends with fellow artist Omar Apollo .
