ABOUT RICKY PEARSALL JR.

Wide receiver who was selected 31st overall in the 2024 NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers . He started his collegiate football career at Arizona State University , then transferred to the University of Florida to play out the final two years of his collegiate career.

As a freshman at Arizona State, he caught just seven passes for 128 yards, then his sophomore year took place during the COVID-shortened 2020-season. He made a huge improvement as a junior at ASU, catching 48 passes for 580 yards and four touchdowns. He transferred to the University of Florida after that season.

On August 31, 2024, about a week before his first NFL season began, he was shot in the chest by a robber who was attempting to steal his Rolex watch. His family reported that he was in stable condition on the day after the incident. He stands at 6'1" tall.

His father, Ricky Pearsall Sr, is a fireman who also played college football.

He became teammates with fellow wide receiver Deebo Samuel on the 49ers.
