ABOUT RICHARD ISTEL
German singer who first rose to fame in 2009 competing on Das Supertalent. Following his success on the show, he toured with Das Supertalent around Germany and eventually went on to compete on The Voice Kids 2014.
As a child he began studying at a local music school and by 2006 was studying the violin.
He was featured on the compilation album We Love Disney released in November 2015.
He was raised by his parents in Leipzig, Germany.
He is close friends with fellow German pop singer Lena Meyer-Landrut .
