Singer-songwriter known for her association with ex-husband Neil Young and her work with the band The Survivors. She is also renowned for her philanthropy, founding The Bridge School to aid disabled children.

She grew up in a small town and worked in a diner.

She sang backup on the song "Philadelphia" at the 1994 Academy Awards.

She was previously married to legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young . She had two children: Amber and Ben.
