ABOUT OWEN DAVIDSON
Former professional singles and doubles tennis player who played in over 800 matches during his career. He was once considered the eighth-best tennis player in the world during the 1960s. He was later inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2010.
He initially began his tennis career as an amateur in 1962. He eventually began his professional tennis career in 1969.
He won exactly 530 professional matches during his career. He also won 7 tennis titles during his career, including the US Open championship, a Wimbledon title, and a French Open title.
He grew up living with his family in Melbourne, Australia. He was survived by his son, Cameron, and his two former wives.
He won multiple doubles tennis titles while playing alongside Billie Jean King .
