ABOUT NORMAN DUBIE
American poet known for collections such as Radio Sky and The Volcano. He received both Ingram Merrill Foundation and National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships.
He began writing poems at age eleven and went on to study at Goddard College and the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
His work inspired tracks on an album recorded by the Arizona band Calexico.
He was born in Barre, Vermont. He later settled in Arizona, where he taught at Arizona State University.
He was influenced by the work of D.H. Lawrence .
