He studied acting at New York University , but dropped out and moved to Los Angeles.

He was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Manlius, New York, outside of Syracuse. He has a brother named Timmy. He was raised by his single mother, Kelley Champa. His boyfriend was fellow TikTok creator Pierre Amaury Bouvier , and together they ran the Nicky and Pierre YouTube channel. They got married in August 2022. They announced their divorce in July 2023.

He was dressed by Jeremy Scott and featured on the red carpet for the H&M x Moschino fashion show in 2018.
