Munier Choudhury
ABOUT MUNIER CHOUDHURY
Playwright, educational theorist and literary critic who wrote the play Kabar and won the Bangla Academy Award in 1962.
He earned graduate degrees from Harvard University and Dhaka University.
He was a professor at Dhaka University from 1950 until 1971.
He and his wife, Lily, had three children: Ahmed, Ashfaq, and Asif.
He and Humayun Ahmed were both recipients of the Bangla Academy Award.
