She won her first notable dance role at age 14 as a featured dancer in the Disney movie/musical, High School Musical .

She later developed a film career with roles in No Strings Attached and High School Musical 3: Senior Year . She's been a member of the LGBTQ+ TikTok collective pridehousela .

She left her family and hometown of Orem, UT to pursue a dancing and acting career. Her brother Gage is also popular on Instagram. She has a younger sister named Starr Belle . She married fellow dancer JekaJane Kalotkin in September 2017.

She starred alongside Ross Lynch in the 2013 TV musical Teen Beach Movie .
