ABOUT MICHAEL LOVESMITH
Writer of popular songs for such artists as the Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin , Gladys Knight and the Pips, and Bobby Brown .
He learned several instruments in his youth, but always showed a foundational knack for writing.
He wrote two songs with Barry White , Whatever We Had We Had and Don't You Want to Know, for the artist's multi-platinum album The Icon is Love from 1994.
He signed himself and his brothers as the band The Smith Connection under their Invictus label.
He also collaborated with Isaac Hayes .
