ABOUT MICHAEL ALLEN
Before becoming both a wing and a center for Edinburgh Rugby, this Northern Irish-born athlete played four seasons for Ulster Rugby and was also part of the Emerging Ireland rugby team.
While attending Methodist College Belfast, he won two Ulster Schools Cups. Before joining Ulster's senior squad, he played his youth career for the Belfast Harlequins.
He scored thirty points and was capped forty-five times during his time with Ulster.
His father played amateur rugby, and his mother, Corinne Allen, played international netball for Northern Ireland.
He rose to prominence on the Ulster squad during the 2013 to 2014 season, stepping in as a replacement wing for injured player comedian.html">Tommy Bowe .
