Illustrator and artist known for creating the Pepe the Frog meme. The meme originated in his 2005 comic called Boy's Club. His illustrations are a mix of child-like enchantment and adult situations. He has exhibited extensively in the United States and Europe.
In 2001, he graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware.
In 2012, he released his first children's book titled The Night Riders. His Pepe the Frog character became a 4chan meme and a symbol of the alt-right. In 2021, he auctioned an NFT image of the character.
He is from Columbus, Ohio and later resided in Los Angeles, California.
During the 2016 United States presidential election, his Pepe the Frog meme was connected to Donald Trump 's campaign.
