ABOUT MARKUS KUHN
Retired defensive tackle who rose to prominence for his career in the NFL, including for the New York Giants. In December 2014, he returned a fumble for a touchdown, and thus became the first ever German citizen to score a touchdown in the NFL.
He played in the German Football League for the Weinheim Longhorns. He was a four-time all-star in the league.
He played college football in the US for the North Carolina State Wolfpack. He later earned his economics degree from the school in 2012. In 2017, he retired from professional football.
His father's name is Wolfgang.
He developed a friendship with former New York Giant and NFL Hall-of-Famer Michael Strahan while playing for the Giants.
