ABOUT MARCO MATARESE

Tattoo artist and owner of Puro Tattoo Studio in Milan, Italy. He is known for his portraiture work, surreal illusions, and detailed illustrations in black and grey which he shares through Instagram for his over 180,000 followers.

He graduated from Brera Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a restorer of castles, churches, and other prestigious homes. His interior design career eventually led him to tattoo work in 2014. In January of 2015, he began sharing his tattoo artworks through Instagram.

His artworks and tattoo studio have been featured in several press outlets and magazines including Artribune, Scene 360, and TattooLook.

He was born and raised in Milan, Italy.
