ABOUT MARCEL WENGLER
Musician and conductor known for "Diaporama," "European Rhapsody," and other works. He recorded numerous CDs of Luxembourg composers with the RTL Symphony Orchestra.
He studied music in Brussels and Cologne before becoming the head of the Conservatoire de Luxembourg in 1972. He led the Conservatoire until 1997.
He composed the score for the film "Un amour de Swann" from 1984.
He was born and raised in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg.
His early musical style was influenced by the work of Ludwig van Beethoven and Gustav Mahler.
