ABOUT LUIS CURVELO

MLB relief pitcher that was initially signed by Seattle Mariners as an international free agent in 2018. Just a few years later, he was named one of the Mariners 'top 50' MLB prospects. In November 2024, he was acquired by the Texas Rangers .

He first began his professional minor league career with the DSL Mariners rookie affiliate team. He was later promoted to the Everett AquaSox.

He made his official MLB debut while pitching against the Mariners on July 31, 2025. He pitched two shutout innings and recorded three strikeouts.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Higuerote, Venezuela.

He played alongside Julio Rodriguez as a member of the Mariners during the 2025 MLB regular season.
