ABOUT KRYS BARNES

Veteran inside linebacker who originally began his professional football career with the Green Bay Packers after signing a multi-year deal with them in April 2020. After two seasons in Green Bay, he then joined the Arizona Cardinals in March 2023.

He was considered a four-star prospect while at Liberty High School in Bakersfield, California. Shortly after graduating, he then enrolled at UCLA as a freshman in 2016.

He credits NFL Hall-of-Famer ray-lewis.html">Ray Lewis as being his biggest football influence and the reason why he plays the position of middle linebacker. He stands at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs approximately 229 pounds.

He grew up living with his family in Bakersfield, California. He is the youngest of two siblings.

He was a high school teammate with Jordan Love while at Liberty High School.
