ABOUT KEVIN MAGNUSSEN

He made his Formula One debut in 2014, racing a McLaren MP4-27. He has raced for Haas since 2017. In 2020, he was replaced but following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he came back to replace Nikita Mazepin .

He began racing karts, and made his professional debut in 2008 in the Danish Formula Ford series.

In 2013 he was the Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion. He has a total of 2 championship titles.

His father, Jan Magnussen , was a very successful Formula One racer. He married Louise Gjørup in 2019. The couple welcomed a daughter in 2021.

He joined McLaren in Formula One full time in 2014 as a replacement for Sergio Perez .
