ABOUT KAPPEI YAMAGUCHI
Prolific voice actor who rose to fame for his role as Ranma Saotome in the 1989 anime series Ranma ½. Since then, he has played roles in many popular anime series such as The Vision of Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, and Death Note . His voice can also be heard in video games such as Crash Bandicoot and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
He was mentored by voice actor Kaneta Kimotsuki.
He narrated a Japanese Burger King commercial. In 2019, he received the Kei Tomiyama Memorial Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards.
His real name is Mitsuo Yamaguchi. He has two children.
He and Maaya Sakamoto both voiced characters in The Vision of Escaflowne.
