ABOUT JON CARIN
American musician, singer, songwriter, and producer who has been a longtime collaborator with Pink Floyd and The Who . He has also worked with the solo careers of David Gilmour and Roger Waters , Pete Townshend , and Kate Bush .
He graduated from Jericho High School in New York in 1982. He started his professional career with the band Industry as their lead singer, keyboardist, and songwriter. During his time with the band, they had a hit single with "State of the Nation" in 1984.
He produced, wrote, and arranged Psychedelic Furs frontman Richard Butler 's 2006 solo album "Richard Butler." He and Butler each dedicated the album to their father.
He was born in New York City. His father Dr. Arthur A. Carin was a noted educator.
In addition to his work with Pink Floyd, he has also played with Eddie Vedder , Bryan Ferry , the Gipsy Kings , and Corey Feldman .
