ABOUT JOHN ZWETSLOOT

Guitarist and composer known for his work with the metal band Dissection. He later began a band called Cardinal Sin and worked as a session musician for the Swedish metal bands The Haunted and Nifelheim.

He joined Dissection as a replacement for the band's previous guitarist, Mattias Johansson.

He played on Dissection's two 1990s albums: The Somberlain and Storm of the Light's Bane. After a history of missing or coming late for gigs, he was fired from the band.

He grew up near Strömstad, Sweden.

He and Dissection played with Doug Bradley and Cradle of Filth during the Gods of Darkness tour.
