Author of the best-selling books like To All the Boys I've Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You. She previously wrote a trilogy that included the titles The Summer I Turned Pretty, It's Not Summer Without You and We'll Always Have Summer.

She would attend the University of North Carolina before earning her Masters of Fine Arts at the New School. Her debut novel is called Shug.

She has worked with fellow writer Siobhan Vivian who she met while attending The New School .

She has a younger sister and a nephew named Logan.

She and Suzanne Collins have both authored young adult trilogies.
