ABOUT JAMES PARKINSON
Prominent English surgeon and geologist who discovered Parkinson's disease.
He was very interested in politics and supported the French Revolution.
In 1817, he discovered paralysis agitans, which would later be known as Parkinson's disease.
He married Mary Dale in 1783, and together they had six children.
Another famous surgeon is Dr. Charles Drew .
