ABOUT JALEN HURTS

Quarterback who was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles . He had a standout season in 2022, earning his first Pro Bowl selection while leading the Eagles to Super Bowl LVII. Prior to his NFL career, he played college football at the University of Alabama and helped the team win the 2017 national title.

He was coached by his father Averion throughout his career at Channelview High School.

He was the 2016 SEC Freshman of the Year and 2016 SEC Offensive Player of the Year.

He was born in Houston, Texas to parents Pamela and Averion Hurts. He has a younger sister Kynnedy, and older brother Averion. His brother Averion played quarterback at Texas Southern University . He got engaged to Bry Burrows in September 2024. They officially married in April 2025.

He played for head coach Nick Saban at Alabama.
