ABOUT JAKE BAUERS

Left-handed outfielder and first baseman who has played with the Tampa Bay Rays , Cleveland Guardians , Seattle Mariners , and New York Yankees during his major league career. He was originally selected as a seventh-round pick in the 2013 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres .

He first began his professional playing career with the Arizona Padres. He played in 47 games before being promoted to the Fort Wayne TinCaps.

While playing with the Guardians, he hit for the cycle against the Detroit Tigers on June 14, 2019. He was just the ninth player in Cleveland franchise history to achieve this feat.

He and his wife, Laura, got married in January 2022. He is a native of Newport Beach, California.

He was once packaged in a trade that also included Carlos Santana and Yandy Diaz .
