ABOUT JACOB HOGGARD
Rock singer best known for placing third on the second season of Canadian Idol. He is also the frontman of the band Hedley . The band's self-titled debut album went double-platinum. Since 2018, he has been found guilty on multiple accounts of sexual assault on underage minors.
He began teaching himself to play guitar at age twelve.
He released the album the Show Must Go On with Hedley in 2009; it reached #6 on Canadian charts. The reason he appeared on Canadian Idol was because his Hedley bandmates in high school made him a bet that he would not.
He married Tammy Hoggard in 2004. They divorced in 2009.
He, like Carly Rae Jepsen , is a former third place finalist on Canadian Idol.
