MLB starting pitcher who recorded a no-hitter with the Cincinnati Reds on September 28, 2012.

He went undefeated with a 15-0 record during his senior season at La Grange High School.

He played three seasons in the minor leagues before making his MLB debut with the Reds in 2007.

He was given the nickname Homer in honor of his great-grandfather.

He joined fellow pitcher Bronson Arroyo on the Cincinnati Reds in 2007.
