She first broke into acting in the 2009 comedy film St. Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.
In 2014, she married musician Alan Pownal. The couple welcomed a son, Sasha Blue Pownall.
She acted alongside Orlando Bloom in the movie The Three Musketeers.
