Drug lord who led the drug trafficking organization known as the Tijuana Cartel and was shot dead by a gunman disguised as a clown at his birthday party about five years after his release from prison.

He joined the Tijuana Cartel in 1989 and took over in the early '90s around the time tension built between his cartel and the Sinaloa Cartel.

He was convicted of illegal arms possession, drug charges, and murder.

He was the eldest of seven brother who all had a part in the Tijuana Cartel.

He was a drug kingpin like Colombian drug trafficker Pablo Escobar .
