ABOUT FRANCES GOODRICH
Four-time Oscar nominated screenwriter for films including: The Thin Man, After the Thin Man (1936), Father of the Bride (1950) and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. He was also known for winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
She graduated from Vassar College in 1912 and went on to the New York School of Social Work.
She and husband Albert Hackett both won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for their play, The Diary of Anne Frank.
She married and wrote with Albert Hackett, who was also a screenwriter.
She and her husband wrote a play based off of the Diary of Anne Frank .
