ABOUT FILIPPO LA MANTIA
Italian chef who is best recognized for being the head chef and owner of the restaurant Oste e Cuoco and La Trattoria. Specializing in baked goods, Italian pasta, and other traditional dishes, he shares photos of his cooking creations through Instagram as well where he has earned over 140,000 followers.
He started cooking at the age of fourteen and moved to Rome in 2001 to pursue his culinary career. He opened his first restaurant in 2002 called Zagara.
He is also known for having moved to Indonesia in 2006 where he worked as a consultant for the Losari Coffee Plantation resort based in West Java.
He was born and raised in Rome and shared a photo with his mother to Instagram in May of 2019.
