Son of country singer Rodney Atkins . He played a younger version of his father in his dad's music video for the song "Thank God for You." He made national news after he was involved in an accident with an impaired driver. The accident did not result in injuries.

His father released his debut album in the year 2003.

Rodney's song "Watching You" was written for him. He wrote the 2011 short film Waking Eyes. He witnessed a confrontation between his father and mother at the age of 10 that led to a brief arrest of his father. He was raised splitting time between his mother and his father and stepmother.

His brothers' names' are Ryder and Scout.

He collaborated with Sam Feldt on the song "Caught Up In The Country" in 2019.
