ABOUT DEVIN PORNEL

Filipino Chinese American dancer, choreographer, and instructor known for choreographing for K-pop acts TXT and THE BOYZ and for dancing alongside Jungkook in the "Standing Next to You" era, by appearing in the official choreography/dance practice and performance rollouts for GOLDEN.

He began dance training in 2007. He eventually founded and directed the iLL Habits Junior Dance Team. He then spent five years training with Choreo Cookies. He was teaching publicly beginning in 2017.

He's a stylist as well, and in editorials he leans into plaid-on-plaid and stacked jewelry. He was a judge in the Moving Star Dance Championship in 2016 and the Summer Jam Showcase in 2025.

He was born in Hazlet, New Jersey and eventually relocated to San Diego, California. He is of Filipino and Chinese heritage.

He has frequently collaborated with fellow LA choreographer Ian Eastwood . His US credits include appearing in Ed Sheeran 's "2step" production.
